Hospice of Citrus County to dedicate the Hospice Care Unit

Beverly Hills, FL – 05/03/06 - Hospice of Citrus County will dedicate the 6-bed inpatient unit at Citrus Memorial Hospital on Thursday, May 11th at 1pm.  The unit will be named The “Judith A. Nee” Hospice Care Unit at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Judy Nee was employed by Citrus Memorial Hospital and was a strong advocate of hospice care in Citrus County.  She served on the founding board of Hospice of Citrus County. Anthony J. Palumbo, CEO of Hospice of Citrus County said,   "Through her work with Hospice and Citrus Memorial Hospital, Judy was a vigilant supporter of our blessed mission.  For years, she took care of us.  It is now our turn, as stewards of the hospice mission, to recognize Judy's selfless contribution by honoring her memory for many years to come."
