CFCC and Hospice of Citrus
Beverly Hills, FL – 12/20/05 - Nearly everyone has experienced a significant loss in their lives. For some, the grieving process goes smoothly, but for many others, the time following the loss of a loved one is often confusing and frustrating. We are left wondering if we are abnormal in our ability to “get over it” and move on.
In an effort to make the grieving process less of a mystery, Central Florida Community College and Hospice of Citrus County have teamed up to offer a seminar entitled “Good Grief.” Jonathan Beard, Wings Grief Support Team Manager, will present the information. Designed as an educational tool, “Good Grief” will explore the various aspects of grief: what it is, what it isn’t and why it is normal. Helpful hints will be presented to guide participants through the journey of grief and loss and to find new meaning in their lives by looking back, then forward and turning their experiences into good grief.
“Good Grief” will be held at the CFCC campus in Lecanto on Thursday evenings, 5:30pm-7:00pm for four weeks beginning January 9 th and continuing for 4 weeks. Cost of the course will be $19. This seminar is open to anyone who feels this information would be beneficial. Participants do not need to be Hospice families.
